“Hey, I’m Iris Roemermann and I’m 19 years old. I’m currently in the 5th semester of the HBO ICT & Media Design program at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven. From February until the end of June, I’ll be working as a web development intern at RevControl. For my internship assignment, I’ll focus on designing and developing a new feature for the RevControl application that helps the customer success department.”

How did you become aware of RevControl?

“When I was looking for an internship, my father advised me to take a look at CARE Internet Services. My uncle co-founded CARE with Luuk and after looking at their website, I immediately sent an email. During the internship interview, they introduced me to RevControl and the assignment, and I immediately thought it was fun and challenging!”

What will be the focus of your assignment?

“In the upcoming months, I will delve deeper into the RevControl application and try to develop a user-friendly solution. Before I start designing, I need to understand exactly what the wishes and needs of the customer success department are."

What are your expectations for the coming months?

“Over the past few weeks, I have learnt a lot about what exactly a revenue management system entails and its benefits. This internship has also provided me with insights into working within a company, as it’s my first internship. In the coming months, I hope to develop a great solution to help the RevControl team.”

Do you want to share some nice-to-know details?

“When I'm not occupied with my school or internship, I enjoy exploring nature and taking my camera with me. Photography is one of my hobbies that I discovered thanks to my studies! I also enjoy visiting cities for shopping and having a drink on the terrace, usually with my boyfriend or my family."
