“Hi, my name is Suze Berendsen and I am 22 years old. I study Hotel Management at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Apeldoorn. Last February I started my graduation internship at RevControl as Customer Success Intern. My graduation assignment focuses on the Customer Success department and is about the newest developments within RevControl. We have something big coming up! Already curious? How did you become aware of RevControl?
“Last semester I studied the minor The Business of Hotels at Breda University of Applied Sciences. This minor was partly based on Asset Management regarding hotel management agreements and franchise models. On the other side, I have learned about Demand Management. This part was mainly about revenue management and the use of data in hotels. And that is when I met Robin and Edwin from RevControl! They gave us a demo of their system and we have worked on a real revenue management case for a few weeks. I was so enthusiastic and wanted to learn as much as possible about revenue management.
When they explained about the graduation possibilities, I took my chance. Now I can call myself a RevControl intern! ”
What will be the focus of your research?
“As I mentioned before, in the upcoming six months I will research the newest developments within RevControl and how clients will benefit from the developments in the best way. Before that, it is important to know the ins and outs of the system. Therefore, I joined different trainings and installations with clients. Next up is the ITB Berlin and IHS Amsterdam."
What are your expectations for the coming months?
“I am glad that I joined the RevControl team! The introduction was a warm welcome and I already learned lots about revenue management and their software system. I am thrilled to help our clients how to increase their room revenue. During the upcoming weeks, I will carry out many onboarding processes for new clients, that benefit my research.”
Do you want to share some nice-to-know details?
“I like to sport and played hockey for over ten years. However, since I live in Breda I ,unfortunately, had to stop. So now I go to the gym a few times a week. Furthermore, I love fashion and I am a bit addicted to it. I have seen almost every shopping street in the big cities of The Netherlands."
